Are you using the right login page?

To log in to your currency trading game account (fxTrade Practice), use: fxTrade Practice Login Page

To login to your real currency trading account (fxTrade), use: fxTrade Login Page


Is Java installed? (Linux clients only)

The OANDA Desktop platform is implemented using Java. 

While the OANDA Desktop platform will automatically install Java for Windows and Mac clients, if you are trying to use the platform on a Linux machine please make sure you have the latest version of Java to avoid potential issues. The latest version of Java can be found here.


Have you cleared your cache? Rebooted?

One of the most common problems our users experience is that their Java Cache has become corrupted. Please follow Oracle’s instructions on how to clear your cache. Please don't forget to close all of your browser windows once you have done that.

If clearing your cache does not solve the problem, please reboot your computer before proceeding to the next step to allow your system to be in a 'clean' state.
